Wer kennt diese oder ähnliche Situationen nicht, es hat einen nach Hinterkleinkleckersdorf verschlagen, das Internet ist zäh bis unbenutzbar, im Fernseher auf dem Gästezimmer des Landgasthofs kommt nix Spannendes, die Dorfwirtschaft schließt mangels Gästen schon um halb zehn, aber die Handfunke, die empfängt ein BrandMeister-Relais mit 9+20. Doch wer hört mich, wenn ich da rufe? Welche TGs kann meine Frau verwenden, um mich ohne großes Herumprobieren gleich zu erreichen? Muß ich für die übliche Mitternachtsrunde irgendwas abonnieren, oder ist eh schon alles statisch geschaltet?
Die Lösung kann ganz einfach sein: eine TMS/SMS-Nachricht an das Gateway 262994 (als persönlicher Ruf, nicht als Gruppenruf!) schicken mit dem Kommando RPT – schon kommt eine Rückmeldung, wie der zur Abfrage benutzte Repeater konfiguriert ist. Funktioniert übrigens auch mit DMR-Hotspots!
Voraussetzung dafür ist einfach, daß der Teilnehmer an seinem Endgerät und im BrandMeister-dashboard eine funktionierende TMS/SMS-Konfiguration eingerichtet hat.

TMS/SMS-query to see active TGs on a repeater
We all may know this kind of situation, out in the middle of nowhere, internet is slow to unavailable, on the motel room TV there’s nothing of interest, the beer tavern closes at half past nine as no guests show up anyway – but hey, there is a BM repeater on the handheld with 9+20! Who will hear me when I start a call? What TG can my wife use to reach me? Do I need to activate the TG for the usual midnight chat, or is this one already booked?
The solution is quite simple: send a SMS/TMS message with the command RPT to our gateway number 262994 (personal call, not group call!), and within seconds you receive a message back, with the repeaters static talkgroup list. By the way, works with hotspots, too!
The only prerequisite is a functional TMS/SMS-configuration in the radio and in the BrandMeister dashboard.
